The West Australian

A practical design that they called clever, neat and very stylish was one of the things that the judges
liked about this elegant ensuite.
Part of the Switch Homes for Living display Switcheight30, the ensuite was designed by the Switch Design Team and Gilt Edge Cabinet Makers. The judges said the ensuite had a real wow factor and they loved its palette of calming colours.
“The quality of this design proves a winner for Switch Homes,” they said. “The ensuite’s outstanding selection of high- quality materials and finishes stood out and complemented the practical approach to design.”
A twin vanity forms the focal point of the room, with an essa stone benchtop with white recessed basins and white and timber veneer cabinetry.
A central towel storage nook divides the vanity cabinetry. The vanity backs on to a floating wall with iridescent mosaic tiles and a feature light above each mirror. Behind this floating wall is a spacious shower and a toilet.
The judges said the use of the floating wall enabled the room to have a practical layout. “The lighting is brilliant and there is great use of space,” they said.
