A butler’s pantry or scullery — one of the hottest features in modern kitchen design — is one of the top features of this Aveley display home, according to Switch Homes for Living sales manager Lee Morris. “The centrally located kitchen in our Aveley display home has the infinitely practical broad corner island essastone top bench as its cornerstone, with feature lighting above to add a splash of colour and warmth,” Mr Morris said. The bench includes a breakfast bar overlooking the living area, which has drawers built in. “They cleverly allow you to keep all the mess away from the area where you gather and entertain and.” The fridge recess is also hidden, making for an uncluttered kitchen. Soft-close mechanisms to all cabinet doors and drawers, a glass splashback to the underside of an overhead cupboard and Ariston appliances are among the kitchen’s features. The Switch Eight 70’s ensuite off the main bedroom boasts a stunning feature mosaic wall in the shower recess and a large window casts natural light over this well-designed area, Mr Morris said. “A screenless shower incorporating a shampoo recess creates a bathing area of spacious opulence,” he said. “Double over bench-mounted cupboards allow maximum storage and practicality, whilst a large bench area complements the workspace.” Lisa Calautti
