The kitchen is the central hub of this Lakelands display home: the Switch Eight 90. Switch Homes for Living sales manager Lee Morris said as part of the company’s signature “clustered utility areas” concept, the laundry, walk-in pantry, and a study nook, were set around the kitchen for a functional zone.
“The Switch Eight 90’s kitchen accentuates the continuous flowing space of the entire home,” Mr Morris said.
“It has a long kitchen bench that is ideal for side-by-side cooking and dining, and maximises vertical space with its custom-built cabinets and smart storage areas.
“We’ve also incorporated the rich red Metaline product for the splashbacks which adds colour and complements the stone benchtops and custom-built cabinets that help maximise storage space.
“The strong use of colour in this kitchen sets it apart from others and is being seen as a breath of fresh air by those visiting the display.”
The ensuite’s abundance of natural light is achieved by a big full-height window, Mr Morris said.
“A semi-frameless glass shower screen door encloses a huge oversized shower, beautifully adorned in rich dark chocolate brown vitrified tiles,” he said.
“A heavy framed mirror and glass-shelved enclave featured at the end of the vanity create an appealing feature in this ensuite bathroom.
“Sophisticated essastone tops and warm laminate selections balance the designer cabinet detail whilst earthy paint tones give a warm glow to this elegant and cleverly designed area around the ensuite.”
