Switch Homes for Living won acclaim for their kitchen design in the industry awards.

BELMONT-based builder Switch Homes for Living claimed three top honours this month in the 2011 Housing Industry Associations Kitchen and Bathrooms awards, including one for its Aveley home design.

The company also scored finalist nominations in seven categories.

Four of the builders seven display homes were finalists in the kitchen awards, including its Aveley home, the SwitchEight70, which won the $290,001-$330,000 category.

Switch Homes for Living sales and marketing manager Lee Morris said the wins were testament to cutting edge design features and material use, as well as first class workmanship.

He said the Aveley design featured a large scullery-style pantry.

It also houses the fridge recess, making for a very uncluttered kitchen, he said.
