• Mark Rea has been appointed an associate director at consulting engineering firm Pritchard Francis. Mr Rea has experience in large-scale commercial, mining, industrial and government projects.
• Alan Hoffman will join Corefleet as national operations manager on Monday after stepping down as chief executive of the Royal Aero Club of WA. Mr Hoffman has more than 20 years experience in senior management roles, including at Shell, Wesfarmers Dalgety and Coventry Group.
•Special counsel Paul Dewar has been made a director of Wrays Lawyers. He specialises in intellectual property litigation, particularly patents.
•Switch Homes for Living has appointed Tim Tsagaris and Leon Mitchell-Lewis as investment property consultant and research and design manager respectively. Mr Tsagaris was previously chief executive of Trident Property Services and has more than 10 years real estate experience. Mr Mitchell-Lewis, who has more than 27 years industry experience, was previously design and drafting manager at Addstyle Master Builders.
•Accounting firms Barringtons and Graham Addison will merge, effective tomorrow. Graham Addison & Associates will relocate to Barringtons House in Rokeby Road, Subiaco, and assume the firm’s name, increasing staff numbers to about 50.
•Byfields Accountants and Financial Advisers has made Jon Bush partner. He has worked at the firm’s Ascot office for six years and specialises in advice to farming clients.
• Sue McDonnell has joined West Australian Newspapers as media strategy manager. Ms McDonnell has extensive experience in print media research including roles with News Ltd in Sydney and most recently with Community Newspaper Group.
•Canadian-based agribusiness Viterra has appointed Phil Brooks as grain accumulation manager for the company’s cropping division, to be based in Perth. Mr Brooks has extensive experience in the grains industry, including at Clear Grain, Brooks Grain and Glencore Grain.
• Paulina Puchalka has rejoined Hudson as a senior consultant for its information communications and technology practice. She will specialise in recruiting staff within the financial and professional services sector. Shokria Mutahar has joined the firm’s office professional team.
•Talbot Olivier has appointed Natasha Leedman as a senior workplace relations lawyer. She specialises in litigation on State and Federal workplace relations law. Ms Leedman has a banking and finance background.
