Final homes are nearing completion at the biggest residential builders’ display village in Perth’s southern suburbs, at Lakelands Private Estate. The last three display homes are due to open in the next few months, taking the total at Lakelands to 26 displays, representing leading project builders with a broad range of target markets from firsthomebuyers to those looking for a luxury two-storey design. Developer Peet Limited will celebrate the new display village with family events this weekend, and will release 24 new residential lots to coincide with the event. The lots range from 390-744sqm and will be priced from $159,000. Titles are due in June. Managing director and chief executive Brendan Gore said the new lots would be available for sale from noon today, on a first-come, first-served basis. “We expect the new release to attract keen interest from homebuyers drawn to the community’s quality range of home site options and prime location,” Mr Gore said. “Lakelands offers residents an enviable list of attractions and its location on the Perth side of Mandurah is close to facilities such as schools, shopping and other essential services. “The new display village features the latest in contemporary home designs and will provide a valuable resource for homebuyers in Perth’s expanding southern suburbs for years to come. “The home designs, like the home site options available at Lakelands, provide plenty of choice for firsthomebuyers, young and growing families and empty nesters looking to downsize. “From stylish single-storey designs through to generously proportioned double-storey homes, the display homes are all designed to a high standard and feature quality finishes. The 23 homes already open at Lakelands showcase designs by Aussie Living Homes, Aveling Homes, Blueprint Homes, Celebration Homes, Collier Homes, Content Living Homes, Dale Alcock Homes, DreamStart Homes, EasyStart, Gemmill Homes, Goodlife Homes, Highbury Homes, Homebuyers Centre, In-Vogue, Plunkett Homes, Redink Homes, Scott Park Homes, Select Living, Summit Homes, S w it c h H o m e s fo r Living, Ultimate Homes, Ventura Homes and West Australian Housing Centre. APG Homes, Danmar Homes and Perceptions will also have homes in the display. The family events will run from noon to 4pm today and tomorrow at the builders’ display village, on Cobaki Brace and Jasper Way, in Lakelands. More than 1050 home sites have been sold to date at Lakelands, which will ultimately have about 2500 homes. Peet has a limited number of lots available in previous releases at Lakelands, priced from $158,000 and including some lots suitable for first home buyers.
