Two new residential land releases at Lakelands Private Estate, on the north side of Mandurah, are targeting first-homebuyers looking for a bargain-priced block and families looking for land to build a spacious home.

Peet Limited has released a range of “family-sized” lots from 571-661sqm in Stage 34B of the popular estate. These lots are close to parkland and priced from $182,000.

The other new release, in Stage 21C, includes a limited selection of more affordable family-sized lots, priced to appeal to first-homebuyers.

Home sites in this stage range from 429-502sqm and are priced from $158,000. A 754sqm block with duplex potential is part of this release.

The Stage 21C lots are within easy walking distance of Mandurah Baptist College and suited to young families and people looking for an easy-care option within the popular community.

Peet also has three homestead lots from 1191sqm to 1496sqm currently available at Lakelands, giving buyers the opportunity to build a big home while retaining surrounding trees and bushland. These lots are priced from $295,000.

Lot prices include Peet’s Flying Start package of fencing, front garden landscaping and reticulation.

Peet managing director and chief executive Brendan Gore said that Lakelands aimed to meet demand for an increasing variety of land and home products over the past few years, as growing numbers of people moved into the area.

“Lakelands Private Estate has been carefully planned and developed and its highly sought-after location — within easy reach of infrastructure and amenities — offers residents opportunities to work and enjoy recreation close to home,” Mr Gore said.

Lakelands has landscaped parks, lakes and other attractions and is five minutes from Madora Beach. It has easy access to the Kwinana Freeway.

Peet is developing the Lakelands estate on land close to Mandurah’s northern boundary and will ultimately create about 2500 lots.

The community is already home to more than 850 families.

Lakelands has the biggest builders’ display village in Perth’s southern suburbs, with 25 one and twostorey designs on show, and one more under construction by Danmar Homes.

The participating builders are Aussie Living Homes, Aveling Homes, Blueprint Homes, Celebration Homes, Collier Homes, Content Living, Dale Alcock Homes, Dreamstart, Easystart Homes, Gemmill Homes, Goodlife Homes, Highbury Homes, Homebuyers Centre, In-Vogue, Plunkett Homes, Redink Homes, Scott Park Homes, Summit Homes, Switch Homes for Living, Trendsetter Homes, Ultimate Homes, Ventura Homes and West Australian Housing Centre.

The Lakelands land sales office, in Cobaki Brace, is open weekends from 1 to 5pm, Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 to 5pm and Wednesdays from 3.30 to 5pm.
